Swell Summary
The current north-northwest swell will maintain surf around October average tonight along most exposed north and west facing shores from Kauai to Maui. This swell will gradually lower Thursday through Saturday. Another north-northwest swell should boost surf slightly late Sunday and Monday, followed by small surf midweek.
A series of small swells from the southern hemisphere will produce periods of above October average surf into early next week. A long period south-southwest swell building today will be reinforced by additional pulses on Thursday and Saturday, followed by a possible south swell Sunday into Tuesday. East shore surf will remain small due to the absence of significant upstream trade winds.
