FEMA specialists to offer advice on how to rebuild stronger, safer homes after wildfires

Specialists from the Federal Emergency Management Agency will be available May 13-25 at Ace Hardware in Kīhei to offer free advice to homeowners on how to rebuild their homes stronger and safer after the August wildfires.

The specialists will be at Ace, located at 1280 South Kīhei Road, from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday only. The specialists can answer questions and offer home-improvement tips and proven methods to help reduce damage from disasters. Most information is aimed at general contractors or those who do the work on their own.
