Swell Summary
The current long period south swell will maintain High Surf Advisory criteria through tonight with the main energy lingering around 16 seconds. Depending on the buoy observations tonight, the High Surf Advisory for all south facing shores may need to be extended through Tuesday as surf looks to be at or near the advisory criteria. Surf is expected to gradually decline through Friday.
Rough short period wind wave energy along east facing shores will remain slightly elevated through Tuesday before slowly declining as trades upstream of, and eventually over, the islands weaken. East shore surf will fall below average by Wednesday and will decline further through Friday. No significant source of northerly swell is due this week.

Surf: Stomach to shoulder high NNE short period wind swell in the morning builds in the afternoon with occasional sets up to head high.
Conditions: Choppy/disorganized with NE winds 20-25mph in the morning decreasing to 15-20mph in the afternoon.
SOUTH SHORE

Surf: Small scale (ankle to knee high) surf.
Conditions: Semi clean/textured with NNE winds 25-30mph in the morning decreasing to 20-25mph in the afternoon.
WEST SIDE

Surf: Waist to stomach high NNE short period wind swell with occasional chest high sets.
Conditions: Fairly clean in the morning with NE winds 20-25mph. Clean conditions for the afternoon as the winds lighten to 15-20mph.
