AARP Hawai`i, Senior Planet offer free Tech Talk classes at Kaunoa Senior Center

AARP Hawai`i and Senior Planet are offering free Tech Talk classes Aug. 2 at Kaunoa Senior Center in Spreckelsville to teach kupuna about managing their private information online and about artificial intelligence and how to recognize when something has been created by AI.

The online privacy class starts at 9 a.m., and the artificial intelligence class is at 10:30 a.m. at the Kaunoa Senior Center, 401 Alakapa Place. There’s no charge, but registration is requested.

Senior Planet is a charitable affiliate of AARP. It enables older adults to come together and find ways to learn, work, create, exercise and thrive in today’s digital age.

Its free online classes and videos teach kupuna about technology are available at seniorplanet.org. Its teaching materials can be licensed at no cost to other nonprofits who can teach older adults about technology.
