Keiki Hula Festival set for Saturday at the Lahaina Cannery

Keiki Hula Festival flier.

The Keiki Hula Festival is returning to the Lahaina Cannery from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday. The event will feature keiki hula performances and lessons, live music by Kamalei Kawa’a, cultural crafts, shopping and more.

Here’s a schedule of events:

  • 11:15 a.m. – noon. Keiki Hula Show by Halau Nā Lei ‘A’ala O Ku’u Aloha.
  • 12:15 – 1 p.m. Keiki Hula by ‘Aumakua Maui.
  • 1:15 – 1:45 p.m. Hula Lessons with Kanuihele of Halau Nā Lei ‘A’ala O Ku’u Aloha.
  • 2 – 2:45 p.m. Live Music by Kamalei Kawa’a from “The Voice.”

Along with the outstanding performances, the celebration will also feature Hawaiian crafters demonstrating lei making, weaving and other traditional skills for participants to create and take home as souvenirs.

In addition to the cultural workshop, residents and visitors are encouraged to enjoy local food and treats from Māla Ocean Tavern and Coco Deck Lahaina, Choke Ice Cream and Cravings Maui. Shop local with Kekai and Me, Native Souljah and more! Click here for a full list of vendors.
