Update/Canceled: Kīhei 4th Friday features Maui 8 Track Players on Aug. 23

Due to the threat of a Tropical Storm Hone this weekend, as well as anticipated high winds, the Aug. 23 Kihei 4th Friday Town Party has been canceled.

Kīhei 4th Friday’s August Town Party will take place at Azeka Shopping Center Mauka, the “Heart and Soul” of Kīhei, on Friday, Aug. 23, from 6 to 9 p.m.
This month’s free celebration features live music from R&B-fusion band, Maui 8 Track Players, and Arlie Asiu on the main stage, plus Missy Aguilar in the food court. A variety of food booths and trucks, art, crafts and local shopping will be available.
Maui’s Classic and Collector’s Cars will be on display near the Keiki Zone. This month also features a Huge Keiki Zone with Mermaid Photos, Gigantic Yards Games, Rope Bubbles, Face Painting, Hui No’eau Arts and Crafts and a Racing Car Track.
The Azeka Shopping Center Mauka is located at 1279-1280 S. Kīhei Road. Free parking is located less than one block away at Azeka Makai, Kīhei Plaza.
Main stage entertainment schedule:
- 6 to 6:10 p.m. – Intro – MC Kathy Collins
- 6:10 to 7:20 p.m. – Arlie Asiu
- 7:20 to 7:40 p.m. – Lucky Number Drawing
- 7:40 to 7:50 p.m. – Announcements – MC Kathy Collins
- 7:55 to 8:55 p.m. – Maui 8 Track Players
- 8:55 to 9 p.m. – Closing Announcements – MC Kathy Collins

Activities for Keiki and Teens: FREE Face Painting, Balloon Twisting, 4 Kids Quick Science, Race Cars, Hula Hoops, Rope Bubbles and a Mermaid Photo Booth!
The K4F Food Court features: Come enjoy a large food court area with many local taste treats. Food Booths and Food Trucks include: Aloha Made Shave Ice, Hasta La Pasta, Maui Empanadas, Molokai Hot Bread, Like Poke, Maui Cookie Lab, Taco 8th Wonder, Mema’s Baklava, Wai Lemi, Only Ono BBQ, Unreal Bobba, Dee’s Poi Mochi, Mileka’s Ono Hawaiian Food, and Yellowbelly.
