Veterans of Foreign Wars post adjutant to speak at Rotary Club of Kīhei-Wailea, Sept. 4
The Rotary Club of Kīhei-Wailea will be hearing from Ralph Thomas, a representative of the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW Post 385), to share about “Who we are – What we have done and what we are doing – How your organization can help spread the word.”
The Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) of the United States is a nonprofit veterans service organization comprised of eligible veterans and military service members from the active, guard and reserve forces. VFW Post #3850 in Kīhei is the only post in Maui County.
Thomas is a retired Air Force Master Sergeant (24 yrs. active duty). After leaving the military he moved to Long Beach to work for the Veterans Administration for two years. Thomas moved to Maui in 2014 to work for the County of Maui as the Equal Employment Opportunity specialist for the County of Maui until 2020. He has held the adjutant position since 2022 at the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) in Kīhei at Post #3850. Ralph is married to Jackie Thomas, president of the Auxiliary at Post #3850, who teaches at Maui College. They live in Kīhei with their two pets.
