‘American Idol’ finalist Oliver Steele to perform at The Ritz-Carlton Maui, Kapalua

“American Idol” finalist Oliver Steele is set to perform at Alaloa Lounge on Wednesday, Sept. 4 and Thursday, Sept. 5 from 6 to 9 p.m. 

Known for his soulful vocals and soft-spoken honesty, Steele rose to fame during his memorable journey on the hit TV show “American Idol,” where he finished in the Top 8 and developed a close friendship with Hawaii’s own Iam Tongi during Season 21. 

Steele continues to make waves in the music world, drawing from his blues guitar-playing upbringing and collaborations with top Nashville artists. After the Lahaina fires, he penned an original song, “In the Sky,” for the Aloha Strong Music Collective, where downloads of the song benefit those affected by the fires.

Alaloa Lounge, located just off the resort’s lobby lānai, offers an array of craft cocktails, sushi, sashimi, and elevated comfort food. Seating is first-come, first serve. Admission and valet parking are complimentary.
