Maui Health’s Wound Care Program Director Jessica Acop, BSN, RN, MBA, has earned the RestorixHealth Rising Star Leadership Award, according to an announcement by Maui Health.

The annual award recognizes outstanding leadership, dedication, and commitment in the field of wound care with a focus on quality care metrics and building exceptional relationships with the community, community providers, and hospital partners.

Maui Health opened Maui Memorial Wound Care and Hyperbaric Therapy in November 2022 in partnership with RestorixHealth, an industry leader in helping hospitals and healthcare facilities develop wound care solutions.

Acop is among only three leaders to receive this recognition from the over 250 Restorix Health-affiliated wound care clinics nationwide.

In addition to this individual award, Maui Memorial Wound Care and Hyperbaric Therapy is again a dual recipient of RestorixHealth’s Clinical Distinction and Excellence in Patient Satisfaction awards. This is the wound center’s third consecutive dual award.

The Clinical Distinction Award recognizes wound centers that have demonstrated exceptional success by meeting or exceeding clinical benchmarks; the Excellence in Patient Satisfaction Award recognizes wound centers that have demonstrated superior performance in overall patient satisfaction.
