Get your business found on Google next week at Maui TechOhana

Hawaiʻi businesses can learn practical strategies to improve their online visibility at next week’s Maui TechOhana, featuring a free workshop by Myna Marketing founder Nick Ponte.
The event, titled “How to Get Your Business Found on Google (Without Being a Tech Wiz),” will take place in-person and via livestream on Thursday, May 8. The physical meeting occurs at the Malcom Center, located at 1305 N Holopono St. in Kīhei. It is hosted by Maui Economic Development Board.
Ponte will share strategies for improving search engine visibility through tools such as Google My Business, search engine optimization (SEO) and paid ads. The session is tailored for local business owners looking to boost their online presence without advanced technical skills.
Ponte, born and raised on Maui, has helped over 500 local businesses get found on Google, attract more customers, and grow their revenue. Many of his clients have gone from small startups to multi-million-dollar companies by implementing his marketing strategies. His company was named Hawaiʻi’s second fastest-growing business by Pacific Business News in 2024.
