Residents who have items that aren’t listed can inquire about options when calling for an appointment.

A crew from EnviroServices will be flying to Maui from Oʻahu for the event. Residents are urged to schedule an appointment early so staff can assess the amount of equipment and supplies needed to safely process the household hazardous waste.

Commercial hazardous waste won’t be accepted at the event, which is sponsored by the Recycling Section of DEM’s Environmental Protection and Sustainability Division. For more information, visit www.mauicounty.gov/recycle or call 808-270-7880.
