Kīhei man reported missing, last seen Sunday leaving home

The Maui Police Department requests the public’s help with any information on the whereabouts of Sergio Gabaudan, 28, of Kīhei.

Gabaudan was reported missing by a family member on Monday, May 19, 2025, after failing to show up to work on Sunday, May 18, 2025.  He was last seen leaving his residence in Kīhei on Sunday, May 18, 2025, at approximately 5:30 a.m., and calls to his cell phone remain unanswered. 

Gabaudan operates a 2005 blue colored Toyota Tacoma bearing Hawaiʻi license plate ZGE 899, which was last seen heading up Haleakalā Highway at about 6:30 a.m. on Sunday.  

Gabaudan is described as being, 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighing about 150 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. He has multiple tattoos—a snake on his left arm and a music graph on his left bicep. He was last seen wearing a green tank top, white shorts, a black hat with “Hāna” on it, and carrying a camouflage backpack.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Gabaudan is asked to contact the Maui Police Department’s non-emergency number at 808-244-6400. If it is an emergency, dial 911 and refer to MPD report number 25-014647.
