Fork & Salad Maui opens in Lahaina with high-tech perks

Fork & Salad, the Maui-born fast-casual concept dedicated to fresh, locally sourced food, invites the community to celebrate together with a grand opening at its newest restaurant at Lahaina Cannery Mall.

After a soft opening in September, the eatery will hold a community celebration on Thursday, Nov. 6 with a Hawaiian blessing at 10 a.m., followed by live music by Pito Javier and a raffle for giveaways.
Prizes will include a Fork & Salad surfboard signed by champion surfer Paige Alms, a fitness package from Bolo Built’s Coach Chase Bolosan, a four-person Hawaiian sailing canoe experience from Kahākūkahi Ocean Academy and several custom photo prints from Travis Morrin Photography.

Customers can receive 50% off food and drinks all day on Nov. 6, between 10:30 a.m. and 8:30 p.m.
“Lahaina has always inspired us,” says co-founder/chef Travis Morrin. “After all that Maui has been through, we’re grateful to open our doors, encourage folks to #EatLocalEatHealthy and be part of this community’s ongoing renewal.”

On Nov. 6, owners will announce a special nonprofit partnership with Kahākūkahi Ocean Academy in West Maui, dedicated to empowering keiki through ocean sports, environmental stewardship, community programs, cultural education and a deep connection to land and sea.
A project in the making since 2021, the Westside location brings Fork & Salad’s signature build-your-own salads, sandwiches, grain bowls, wraps, soups and house-made, gluten-free dressings to the heart of Lahaina — with a menu that supports more than 20 Hawaiʻi farmers and producers, highlighting locally grown items and sustainable practices.

Founded by chef-owners Jaron Blosser, Cody Christopher and Travis Morrin, Fork & Salad is their second restaurant brain child; the first being Three’s Bar and Grill in Kīhei, Maui. Fork & Salad’s flagship location first opened at Kīhei’s Azeka Mauka Plaza in 2016. Next came Kahului near Target in 2018, and now their location at Lahaina Cannery Mall, in the new standalone building next to Bank of Hawai’i.
The owners believe good food should be accessible, crave-worthy and connected to the islands. Their vision is to expand the farm-to-table movement in Hawai’i, keep dollars circulating locally and nourish our island’s people with healthy food they love to eat.
“Our goal is simple — make it easy to eat fresh, local and feel good about it,” adds co-founder/chef Jaron Blosser. “This location helps us connect more people on the Westside with farms and producers across the islands.”
