The demonstration is one of the many features of the four-day Maui Fair that kicks off on Thursday Oct. 3, with a traditional parade down Kaʻahumanu Avenue.  Click here for road closure information.

In an earlier announcement Fair officials named University of Hawaiʻi Maui College Chancellor Clyde Sakamoto the honorary fair director.  Maui Fair Managing Director Sherri Grimes said the honorary post provides an opportunity each year to express appreciation for an individual in the community.

Other highlights include exhibits, special events, entertainment, rides, crafts and friendly competitions.
