Although Chef Paris Nabavi is the driving culinary force behind Lahaina’s Mexican Sangrita and Mediterranean Pizza Paradiso restaurants, his own background is actually Persian.

This Saturday, June 28, join Chef Nabavi for a cooking class paying tribute to his culture and held in his home.

Organizers promise there will be “food, fine wine, and good company as he shares some secrets from his homeland.”

The menu for Saturday’s cooking class features:

  • Kashk-O-Bademjan (eggplant goat cheese dip)
  • Salad Shirazi
  • Tabriz-Style Meatball (lamb/beef, Basmati rice, fresh herbs, plum, apricot, barberries, pine nut)
  • Persian Ice Cream
  • Raisin Cookies and Persian Tea

Moreover, your entire $100 class cost will be donated to Grow Some Good.
