UPDATE: Makawao Avenue Has Reopened

Makawao Avenue just north of Laie Drive closed just before 11 a.m. on Easter morning because a car hit a fire hydrant. Police had blocked the road going both ways. There is flooding around the structure at the corner of Laie Drive and Makawao Avenue. The road has reopened.
