Sponsors Sought for 93rd Maui Fair in September
By Maui Now Staff
The 93rd Maui Fair – A Fair With a Local Flair, will be held in September this year–Sept. 24 through 27–this year, instead of the usual October dates.
Fair organizers are asking community members to get involved with this timeless tradition by becoming sponsors.
Maui’s largest event will return for its 93rd year providing something for everyone with four days of fun, food, friends and family.
With an attendance close to 100,000, the Maui Fair is the primary source of funding for many of Maui’s nonprofit and community organizations. The fair relies entirely on corporate or local business sponsorships, local donations and volunteers for support.
New sponsorship packages have been developed to provide value-added benefits and are available to fit every budget. Significant publicity is one of the most valuable benefits of sponsorship, showcasing sponsors and their businesses as a true community supporter.
The fair will open with the traditional parade, which is also the Valley Isle’s largest, on Thursday, Sept. 24, and will continue with rides, food, first-rate entertainment and more through the evening of Sunday, Sept. 27, 2015.
The Maui Fair attracts locals and visitors alike to enjoy an alcohol-free, smoke-free and drug-free family-oriented educational event that features local food, first-rate entertainment, E.K. Fernandez Joy Zone, plus horticulture, bonsai, livestock, homemaking, photo and art exhibits and competitions.
Find unique and innovative products and services in the “Maui Fair Products & Services” Tent and visit the Events Arena, where exceptionally talented community groups, clubs and organizations perform and share their knowledge and skill. Attendees can also enjoy the popular Chili Cook Off managed by Maui’s firefighters.
The Fun Run will also return this year.
From its beginnings in 1916 the Maui Fair has become “A Timeless Tradition.”
