Maui Pasta Company Opens in Waikapū

After launching their Maui Pasta Company business in 2012, Ron and Patricia Inman now have an eatery to call their own.  The couple opened their Maui Pasta Company “take-out window” location in Waikapū on Monday, May 11, 2015, in the space where Cafe 808 once was, next to Waikapū On 30.

The business features a take-out menu and catering items including: pizza, sandwiches, family meals for four, baked goods, shave ice, smoothies, fresh sauces, dips and more.  Customers are invited to take home food ready to eat, or items that can be made at home. The business also uses all local and organic herbs in their recipes and promotes the theme “pasta infused with Maui-grown flavors.” 

Prior to opening in Waikapū, the Inman’s had been selling their hand-made pastas in front of their home in Makawao, at island farmer’s markets and at select Maui restaurants.

Some of their wholesale products continue to be sold at Maui Foodland stores in Lahaina and Kehalani, and at Pukalani Superette.  Select items can also be found at Bistro Casanova’s in Kahului, Mama’s Fish House in Pāʻia, Stopwatch in Makawao, and Kula Lodge.

According to the company website, Patricia studied in Italy for two years, where she took cooking classes in Florence.  The Inman’s moved to Maui in 1996 and in 2012 launched their business featuring pastas, ravioli, gnocchi, flavor-infused butters, sauces, and baked goods.
