Enrollment Opens for STEM Software Camps
Tech-minded middle school and high school students are urged to sign up for the free STEMworks Summer Camp series sponsored by Maui Economic Development Board’s Women in Technology.
The camp will explore a range of STEM topics–from coding to SketchUp to Photoshop and Web Design and more.
“This is a great opportunity for local kids to get introduced to our most in-demand STEM courses,” said Ilsa Young, WIT K-12 STEM director. “No prior experience is required, so it’s a chance to sign up, have fun and explore the things you’ve always wanted to learn about.”
The two-day software-hardware workshops will be offered at no charge to students in grades 6 to 12, on Maui, Oʻahu and Molokaʻi. Space is limited. (See schedule below.)
Individual STEMworks Software Camp flyers can be downloaded online.
Workshop reservations can be made online via the same link on a first-come, first-served basis.
