MISSING PERSON LOCATED/UPDATE: 9 a.m. 11/30/15, Missing Person Margarita Dumot has been located and is in good health. The Maui Police Department thanked the public for their assistance.

Maui police are seeking the public’s help in locating a 75-year-old Lahaina woman who was reported missing by a family member on Sunday evening.

Police say Margarita Dumot was last seen at her Lahaina home at around noon on Sunday, Nov. 29, and was reported missing at around 6:45 p.m.

According to Maui police, Dumot has reportedly left home before but is usually at one of the neighbor’s residences and returns home. Checks with her neighbors turned up negative.

Police say Dumot speaks little English. She is described as a 75 year old, Filipino female, standing 4’9” tall, weighing 93 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Maui Police Department non-emergency number at (808) 244-6400 or 9-1-1 if it is an emergency.
