Looking Ahead
Moderate trades will keep showers focused over windward and mountain areas through early Saturday. The trade flow will weaken and shift out of the south to southeast by Saturday afternoon, becoming variable by Sunday ahead of an approaching cold front from the northwest. Light rainfall is expected to come in with the front Sunday night before weakening over Maui County on Monday. Relatively dry, stable conditions and light winds are expected Tuesday through Thursday.

East winds are forecast around 15 mph today in the morning. In the afternoon light and variable winds will take over, winds will shift out of the northwest on Sunday. Partly cloudy skies are in the forecast with isolated showers in the afternoon. Sunday isolated showers are expected. High temperatures from 78° to 83°.
