In their first-ever Maui appearance, Moore and Atkins will perform one night only in the A&B Amphitheater/Yokouchi Pavilion.
Singer/songwriter Moore was named Billboard’s “Top New Country Artist” in 2009. Throughout his career, Moore has sold over 4.5 million digital downloads and his GOLD-certified, sophomore album, Outlaws Like Me, hit the #1 spot the week it was released. The project produced two No. 1 hits: If Heaven Wasn’t So Far Away and Til’ My Last Day, as well as the fan favorite, Bait A Hook.
Moore’s music has been featured on the ABC hit drama, Nashville, Hannity & Colmes and NFL Rewind.
He has been profiled by publications including The Washington Post, People Country and USA Today, and his debut was recognized by The New York Times as one of the best albums of 2009.
Tennessee native Atkins produced his first album, Honesty, in 2003, which included the hit Honesty (Write Me a List). His second album, If You’re Going Through Hell, produced two hit singles—If You’re Going Through Hell (Before the Devil Even Knows) and Watching You—each spending four weeks at the top of the country music charts. They each were respectively ranked as the top country songs of 2006 and 2007 according to Billboard.
The album, which has since been certified platinum in the US, produced two more No. 1 singles—These Are My People and Cleaning This Gun (Come On In Boy).
His album, It’s America (2009), included the No. 1 single It’s America and the top five hit, Farmer’s Daughter. Take a Back Road (2011) produced his sixth No. 1 hit in its title track.
Atkins has received six nominations from the Academy of Country Music, which awarded him “Top New Male Vocalist” in 2006, and two nominations from the Country Music Association.
