Looking Ahead
Moderate trade winds are expected through Wednesday. Lingering moisture over the windward waters will provide clouds and showers to the state, mainly over windward areas under the trade winds. Winds will ease a bit by Thursday into the weekend. An disturbance high in the atmosphere is forecasted to pass over the state by the weekend and could bring enhanced showers to the islands. Stronger trades are expected to return early next week.

We expect mostly cloudy skies for scattered showers for windward spots. Mostly sunny for the leeward sides with isolated showers. Northeast winds from 15 to 20 mph. High temperatures from 79° to 84°.
