Looking Ahead
Clouds and showers will focus primarily across windward and mauka areas and will be most likely across the Big Island due to lingering moisture from a weakening front. The trade winds will ease somewhat Thursday through Saturday. An upper level disturbance will pass over the state this weekend, and may bring some locally heavy downpours to the island chain. Stronger trades are expected to return beginning on Sunday and continuing through the middle of next week.
Today
We expect mostly cloudy skies for scattered showers for windward spots. Partly sunny for the leeward sides with isolated showers. Northeast winds around 15 mph. High temperatures from 79° to 84°.

Tonight
Variable winds are expected around 15 mph. Mostly cloudy skies are expected with scattered windward showers. Leeward spots will be partly cloudy with isolated showers. Low temperatures from 65° to 70°.
