JUS BUCKALOOSE IS BACK AT DA MACC!

The Maui Arts & Cultural Center is pleased to welcome back DA BRADDAHS, Hawai`i’s hilarious comedy duo, at the McCoy Studio Theater on Friday, February 6 at 7:30 pm as part of “The MACC Presents…” 2008-09 Local Voices Series.

James Roche and Tony Silva make up this loco local duo that has been making Hawai`i people “jus buckaloose” laughing for years with their pidgin-style comedy skits and cast of only-in-the-islands characters: a resurrected Don Ho; Samona faddah/son tree-trimmers; hapless cops; a flagrant “kumu” and his cuz. Da Braddahs just have fun acting nuts, and they want you to come along with them all the way: gigglin’ and snickerin’ and bustin’ out the laughs out loud!

The two funny men met during their high school days (James at Pac Five and HBA and Tony at Kamehameha) and later partnered to form Da Braddahs. Having fun acting nuts, Da Braddahs and Friends have released a CD and DVDs Volume 1-10. Their television show “Da Braddahs and Friends” featured on OC 16 Hawaii has propelled them to the forefront of the comedy scene in the islands.

Tickets for Da Braddahs are $25 (half price for kids 12 and under), and with a discount available to MACC annual donors.
