Maui Surf Forecast
North: Wave heights are expected to be around waist/shoulder high today.
West: Surf is ankle/knee high today.
South: Surf is around knee/thigh high today.
Only trace amounts of swell today out of the south. Nothing significant through at least mid-month. Chances are looking better that a swell will line up around the 16th.
Omais (near Japan) has generated a very small swell for northwesterly spots that will trickle in Sunday into early next week. Javier (near Mexico) and Conson (east of Mariana Islands) aren’t looking like wave makers for us.
Keep in mind, surf heights are measured on the face of the wave from trough to crest. Heights vary from beach to beach, and at the same beach, from break to break.
