Maui ranked #14 on a list of the best places for women entrepreneurs in 2016.
The list was compiled by GoodCall, a mainland based data and information company, which reviewed 383 places in the US on four factors including the unemployment rate, percent of women owned business establishments, change in gross domestic product, and the differences in educational attainment.
Maui ranked ahead of Honolulu, which was 18 on the list.
The top 5 places for women entrepreneurs in 2016, according to GoodCall are: 1. Victoria, TX; 2. Bismarck, ND; 3. Monroe, LA; 4. Laredo, TX and 5. Greeley, CO.
