Looking Ahead
The trade winds are expected to pick up and become breezy to gusty on Thursday through the weekend. A more stable air mass is also expected to settle over the islands by this weekend. This will limit afternoon showers over leeward slopes. The breezy trades will carry some of these showers over to leeward spots. The remnants of a front could bring an increase in trade showers late in the weekend.
Today
Partly cloudy with scattered windward showers today. Leeward spots are expected to have clear skies. High temperatures from 83° to 88°. East winds around 15 to 25 mph.
UV index at 9 (“very high” exposure level)
Tonight
East winds around 15 to 25 mph. Mostly cloudy skies with scattered windward showers and isolated showers for leeward areas. Low temperatures from 73° to 78°.
