Hawaiian Music Series Features Tiffa & Imua Garza, Dec. 29

The Lahaina Restoration Foundation hosts another free Hawaiian music concert in front of Baldwin Home Museum on Thursday, Dec. 29 from 6 to 7:30 p.m.

Guests are invited to sit back and relax under the stars to the musical talents of husband and wife duo, Imua and Tiffa Garza.

Residents of Honolulu, Tiffa and Imua bring a lifetime of musical artistry, recording and performance experience to the stage.

Tiffany “Tiffa” Cruz Garza started writing songs at the age of eight and picked up the guitar when she was 12 years old.

She has performed with her multi-talented family members, the late Ernie Cruz, Sr., Ernie Cruz, Jr. and Guy Cruz as well as with popular musician, John Cruz and her sister, Connie Cruz.

Tiffa formed her own bands, The Girlas (2006) and One Right Turn (2008). These days, she entertains as a vocalist.

Imua Garza’s interest in music started at the age of nine when he began playing the piano and soon was playing the ‘ukulele, guitar and electric bass. In 1996, Imua founded his first group, the ʻOpihi Pickers, with his brother, Hōkū, their cousin, Kahale and friend, Kevin. Imua served as producer, composer, lead vocalist and ‘ukulele player in this popular Hawaiian reggae band until 2008. Today, Imua is president of Zeo Music, an independent recording studio, a record producer, arranger and performer.
