Plan Your Route: Maui Lane Closures for April 8-14

The state Department of Transportation will conduct roadwork in Kula and Waiehu on Maui this week, resulting in alternating lane closures.

On the Kula Highway, alternating lane closures will take place nightly between Makaena Place and the Haleakalā Highway from today, April 10, through Thursday, April 13, between 7 p.m. and 3:30 a.m. for underground utility work.

In Central Maui, crews will implement alternating lane closures on Waiehu Beach Road tonight through Thursday morning between 6 p.m. and 4:30 a.m. nightly for sewer pipe installations.

All work is weather permitting and schedules may be changed without further notice. Motorists are advised to drive with caution in the area and plan alternate routes accordingly.
