Public Invited to Kalama Skate Park Design Workshop

The public is invited to provide input to Maui County staff and skate park designers for the proposed Kalama Skate Park.

The workshop will take place on Wednesday, April 19, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the KÄ«hei Community Center, located at 303 East Lipoa Street.

Around 6:20 p.m. a power point presentation will break down the skate park design guidelines including; size, materials, skill levels, no-admission fee, “skate at your own risk” facility and hours of operation.

The workshop will include a power point presentation about the park, a question and answer forum as well as a questionnaire review and design session.
