‘Hazmat’ Spill Forces Temporary Closure of Hansen Road

A hazardous materials spill on Hansen Road in Kahului, has resulted in a temporary closure of the road between Mokulele Highway and Pūlehu Road.

Maui police advise motorists to use an alternate route as crews are work to clear the road.

The closure went into effect at around 12:6 p.m. on Thursday, April 19, 2018.
