Maui AIDS Foundation’s Maui Mardi Gras, Feb. 23
Hawaiʻi based musical supergroup Brunch will headline Maui AIDS Foundation’s annual Mardi Gras Maui fundraiser on Saturday, Feb. 23, 2019.
The event will take place at the Waikapū Ballroom of the King Kamehameha Golf Club at 5:30 p.m.
The musical band Brunch features the dynamic stylings of Honolulu-based singer-songwriter Evan Khay, Oʻahu-based singer-songwriter Izik, “American Idol” season 11 alum DeAndre Brackensick, and one-half of the duo Simple Souls JRoQ.
Along with headliners Brunch, Maui-based acoustic group Swing Star will serenade guests during the event’s Kings Feast. Known for its European-style gypsy swing/jazz, Swing Star consists of Marcus Johnson on bass, Mike Guzalak on clarinet, Steve Elliott on guitar and Loren Tilley on guitar.
