UPDATE: Maui Police Homicide Investigation Underway, Arrest Made

Maui police say William Douglas Allen has been located and arrested.  Police thanked the public for their assistance.

Maui police are actively investigating “homicide-type case” in the area of Holomua Road and Baldwin Avenue. Police say the area is closed.

Police are asking for the public’s help in locating 39-year-old William Douglas Allen. Allen is described as adult male with a medium complexion, brown hair, brown eyes, standing 5’10″ and weighing 220 pounds, wearing unknown clothing. Allen has multiple facial tattoos including a flag on his face (not pictured above).

Allen is known to frequent the areas of Home Depot, Kīhei and Lahaina.

He was last seen on Friday, Jan. 31, 3020 at around 4 p.m., in the Holomua Road area.

Police say Allen should be considered armed and dangerous. Do not approach, call 911 immediately if seen.
