Maui Police Records Division Change of Hours
The Maui Police Department announced changes to its normal business hours in the Records Section due to the precautionary health and safety measures that are being taken with COVID-19.
“To continue providing excellent service to our community, we must adhere to the recommended guidelines in limiting personal contact and increasing social distancing as provided by the County of Maui Mayor’s Office, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and the State Department of Health. These guidelines have been incorporated into our normal, business hours of operation for the Records Section,” according to a police press release.
Firearms registration, permitting and fingerprinting will be conducted Monday through Friday, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and will be on a first come first serve basis.
Temporary Restraining Orders (TRO’s) can be dropped off Monday through Friday, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. If it is before or after that time or on the weekend, the TRO can be dropped off at the Maui Police Department’s Receiving Desk.
