Maui Bus Suspending Four Fixed Routes

The Maui Bus is suspending four fixed bus routes beginning Monday, April 13, 2020, because of substantial decreases in passengers caused by the COVID-19 crisis, the County of Maui Department of Transportation announced.

The four fixed bus routes affected by the suspended service, beginning Monday, are:

• Wailuku Reverse Loop Route No. 2.
• Kahului Reverse Loop Route No. 6.
• Kīhei Villager Route No. 15. (Riders connecting to and from Kīhei and Lahaina will need to transfer at Queen Kaʻahumanu Center, instead of Māʻalaea.
• Kāʻanapali Islander Route No. 25.

All communities will continue to receive Maui Bus service at this time. Riders are encouraged to limit trips to essential travel only and practice required social distancing.

Maui Bus general fares are $2 per boarding and $4 for a daily pass. Monthly passes are also available.
