Makana to Host Virtual Concert

In celebration of Motherʻs Day, internationally acclaimed artist Makana will be hosting a livestream concert on his Facebook page.

The concert will be held on Saturday at 2 p.m. Hawaiʻi Standard Time, “not Sunday because I didn’t want to interrupt family time,” the artist announced.

Those without Facebook accounts do not have to log in to enjoy the concert.

“In the future, I will be setting my home up to start livestreaming more regularly on a multitude of platforms including Instagram, YouTube, Twitch and more – with special guests like Hawaiian cultural practitioners and other artists. Stay tuned!” an announcement from the artist read.
