Portions of Kahoʻolawe, Lānaʻi, Maui, Molokaʻi and the Big Island of Hawaiʻi are included in the advisory.

The NWS advises that winds this strong will make driving difficult and will be capable of downing trees and causing power outages. Motorists should use extra caution.
