Office of Hawaiian Affairs to host community meeting, genealogy workshop and board meeting on Maui

The Office of Hawaiian Affairs will hold a series of events on Maui the first week of June to share updates, offer resources and gather input from the community.
A community meeting will take place on Wednesday, June 4, 2025, at 6 p.m. at the UH Maui College Pā‘ina Building (310 W Kaʻahumanu Ave., Kahului). Attendees will learn about current OHA programs, available resources and ongoing initiatives.
The following day, Thursday, June 5 at 9 a.m., OHA’s Board of Trustees will convene a public meeting at the same location.
Both meetings will be available via livestream at www.oha.org/livestream.
Ahead of these gatherings, OHA will host a Genealogy Workshop on Tuesday, June 3, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the OHA Maui Office (1887 Wili Pa Loop, Suite 1, Wailuku). The workshop will guide participants through the process of locating documents needed to apply for the Kuleana Tax Exemption and ʻĀina Kūpuna programs, and will include hands-on instruction in using OHA’s Papakilo and Kīpuka databases.
Space is limited. To reserve a spot, call 808-594-1835.
