A Hoʻolawa Kine A Day brings Maui community together at Wailele Farm, Saturday, Sept. 5, 2026

Community, connection and local resources come together this Saturday, Sept, 5, at A Hoʻolawa Kine A Day, a free kamaʻāina community gathering from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Wailele Farm at Twin Falls.

Hosted by Common Ground Collective at Wailele Farm, A Hoʻolawa Kine A Day creates a welcoming space for Maui residents to gather, talk story, build relationships and learn more about the people and organizations serving the island.

This quarter’s gathering will feature community booths and representatives from:

• Maui Farmers Support Network
• Pāʻia Youth & Cultural Center
• Friends of Twin Falls
• Doorway Into Light
• Maui Job Corps
• East Maui Water Authority Board
• Okaka Design

Community members are encouraged to visit the booths, meet representatives, learn about programs and resources, and discover some of the many ways local organizations are working to support and strengthen Maui.

The gathering is designed to be a relaxed community space where residents can spend time together, share resources and ideas, make new connections, and learn more about the work taking place throughout Maui.

Entry is free. A valid Hawaiʻi driver’s license is required for adult entry, as Sept. 5 is also Wailele Farm’s regular Kamaʻāina Exclusive Day, held on the first Saturday of every month.

Wailele Farm will open at its regular time of 7 a.m., giving kamaʻāina the opportunity to enjoy the farm earlier in the day. A Hoʻolawa Kine A Day community activities and booths will take place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
