‘The Morning KISS’ with Ed Kanoi welcomes Patty Lee

Maui’s 99.9 KISS FM welcomes Patty Lee to “The Morning KISS,” joining host Ed Kanoi to greet listeners as they wake up and start their day.
You may know “Patty Lee from 10-3” as the midday host of 99.9 KISS FM but now she’s expanding her presence to the morning audience, from 6 to 10 a.m.
Co-host Ed Kanoi said he’s excited to finally work with Patty. “I remember when she first started working at PMG, I walked into the studio and heard her voice on a commercial, coming from the monitor and asked my partner at the time, Charly Espina-Takahama, ‘Who is that?’ I knew then I needed to keep an ear on her. She has since grown to be an exceptional air personality. She’s already gathered fans doing our mid-day show, and I know our audience will love her energy as they start their day.”
Program Director Trance Echevary called Patty’s expanded presence an easy decision. “Her background and her personality is perfect for the station’s audience. I think she’ll do a great job.”
“I’m thrilled to embark on this new journey with PMG,” said Patty.
Sherri Grimes, Vice President and General Manager for Pacific Media Group’s Maui Radio division said Patty brings a familiar voice, personality, and energy to the morning show.
Patty is a film and stage actor, best known for her television roles and appearances in Moku Moku (2023-2024), Untamed (2026), The White Lotus (2021) and Magnum P.I. (2018). She’s also a familiar face from commercials, theater, and television, including an ongoing role as Poni of The Peek-a-Bows.
She founded the Maui Film Collective, previously worked as a mutual aid relief worker at Maui Rapid Response following the 2023 wildfires, and is a Hawaiʻi Arts and Health Network Fellow.
Patty has been part of the Pacific Media Group ‘Ohana since 2018, having served in previous roles with Maui Now and Hawaiʻi Airport Advertising.
In addition to her public persona, Patty also finds time to model and emcee, but her most important role to date, she said, is being a dog-mom to Bailey.
“We’re excited about this next chapter for The Morning KISS and the continued connection Patty brings to our listeners,” said Grimes.
