“Save Our Sina” Fundraiser to Help Maui Girl
By Wendy Osher
A fundraiser is planned on Tuesday night to raise funds for an 11-year-old Lahaina girl who is in need of a life-saving kidney transplant.
The “Save Our Sina” campaign is a benefit for Anamaria “Sina” Sulunga.
Family of Sina are trying to raise $150,000 with all monetary donations going to defray medical costs.
The fundraiser will run from 7 to 9 p.m. on Tuesday, April 24 at the Martin Lawrence Gallery on Front Street in Lahaina.
The event features entertainment by the Kahaiali`i Brothers, pū pū, cocktails, a silent auction, and raffle.
“If you know the Kahaiali`i `ohana; if you can kanikapila, if you can hula, e komo mai, because we could use all the kōkua we can get,” said Sina’s uncle, Kamaunu Kahaiali`i.
