Honoapiilani Accident Impacts Overnight Traffic

The Honoapiilani Highway is now open following an accident that forced the closure of the road for about two hours overnight.  The closure went into effect at 1:55 a.m. on the Honoapiilani Highway between Akahele Street and Lower Honoapiilani Road.  Details of the accident are pending release.

A traffic accident forced the overnight closure of a portion of the Honoapiilani Highway in West Maui.

The closure went into effect at 1:55 a.m. on Tuesday, July 3, 2012, on the Honoapiilani Highway between Akahele Street and Lower Honoapiilani Road.
