UPDATE: Suspect Arrested for Alleged Assault in Pāʻia

Hoe turned himself over to police at the Wailuku Police Station late Monday night, July 20, 2015, and was arrested for the criminal offenses of: First Degree Assault and Unauthorized Entry Into a Motor Vehicle, according to updated information issued by Maui Crime Stoppers.

Police Release Surveillance Photos in Alleged “Theft-Type” Cases

The Maui Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying four individuals wanted for questioning in two separate alleged “theft-type” cases. *The public is reminded that the above information is provided by authorities, and all parties are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.

New Photos Released in Armed Robbery Investigation

Maui police released surveillance images today of a suspect wanted for the armed robbery of the pharmacy at the Longs Drugs store at Kulamalu on Wednesday, June 17, 2015. Police say the male suspect pictured in the images was able to flee the scene with “a fair amount” of Oxycodone pills and was last seen walking out the front door towards Kula Highway.

Police are requesting the public’s help in locating 18-year-old Paula J. Kahue-Miranda, who authorities say is wanted for second degree escape.

Maui Police Seek Suspect in Armed Robbery at Kulamalu Longs

Maui police are searching for a male suspect wanted for the armed robbery of the pharmacy at the Longs Drugs store at Kulamalu. The suspect, at gunpoint, was able to gain access to numerous prescription medications before fleeing the area with an undisclosed amount of prescription medication.

Makawao Man Arrested for Alleged Involvement in Burglary, Firearm Theft

A Makawao man was arrested in Kaupō this week for his alleged involvement in a burglary and firearm theft case. The suspect, Devon Traxinger, 45, was subsequently placed under arrest by Hāna patrol officers.
