A small business in Wailuku is hoping to get the word out about neighborhood crime after being burglarized twice in as many weeks.

Police say a custom made chair was stolen from a home on Halama Street in Kīhei on Thursday, Feb. 11, 2016 between 10 and 10:30 p.m.

Of the 11 vehicle thefts, four of the vehicles have since been recovered. Vehicle break-ins were down by nearly half to 11, from the 20 incidents reported the week before.

Police say a male suspect entered the kitchen area of a Lahaina resort at around 1:15 a.m. without permission and allegedly took items valued at $63.
