Maui police are seeking the public’s help in identifying an individual who allegedly stole a customer’s purse during an incident reported at the Kmart in Kahului.

The incident was reported at 1:32 p.m. on Sept. 29, 2013, at Piʻikea Inc. located on Hukilike Street, police said.

Police say three pairs of Rayban sunglasses were stolen during the incident, reported at 8:27 a.m. on Aug. 30, 2013.

According to police, the man identified as John Amoral allegedly threatened his neighbor while holding a BB gun, then aimed the BB gun at the victim and shot him.

Maui police are seeking the public’s help in identifying an individual who allegedly entered an unsecured vehicle and stole a wallet containing a debit/credit card, which was later used to withdraw $500 cash from an ATM in Kahului.

The suspect allegedly physically restrained the disabled male and stole his wallet containing cash and identification, according to Crime Stoppers reports.
