There were a total of 17 vehicle thefts on Maui in the seven day period between January 13 to 19, 2013. The cases include six incidents in Kahului, two incidents each in Keanae and Kihei, and one incident each in Haiku, Kapalua, Kula, Lahaina, Pukalani, Spreckelsville, and Wailuku.

There were a total of 13 vehicle break-ins reported on Maui over a seven day period between January 13 and 19, 2013. The incidents included the break-in of a variety of vehicles in: (4) Kahului, (3) Wailuku, (2) Lahaina, and (1) each in Kapalua, Paia, Pukalani, and Waiehu.
10 Maui Burglaries Reported Jan. 6 to 12, 2013
Maui police responded to 10 burglaries over a seven day period, between January 6 and 12, 2013. There were three incidentsin Napili; two incidents in Haiki; and one incident each in Kihei, Makawao, Paia, Spreckelsville, and Waiehu.

California Woman Reunited with Ring Found on Maui
The ring some how ended up on Maui and was found in the dirt along a roadside in Happy Valley six months ago. The woman who found the ring turned it into police after attempts to find its owner through the Lost and Found pages on Craig’s List went unanswered.
Police: Maui Man Charged in Death of Co-Worker
The charges stem from a verbal and physical altercation reported on Monday night, November 12 on Napilihau Street near the rear parking lot of the Napili Plaza.
UPDATE: Charges Laid in Maui Gas Station Robberies
Maui police today charged Bronson Foster Benson, 21, and Namon Kalani Parks, 31, both with two counts of first degree robbery. Bail for each was set at $100,000.

Kahului Walmart Theft Suspect Sought
Authorities say the male individual captured in the attached surveillance photos entered Walmart in Kahului and took a car battery charger, wireless video surveillance system and a head set, then left the store without paying for them.
Suspect Sought in Lulu’s Lahaina Purse Theft
Authorities say an unknown female attempted to use a stolen debit card from the purse to withdraw money the following day from an ATM machine at the Bank of Hawaii in Lahaina.
Maui Man Wanted on Assault Allegations
Bascar is described as 5-feet 7-inches tall, weighing 180 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. He also has a tattoo on the left side of his neck.
