13 Maui Burglaries Reported Mar. 11 to 17, 2012

There were four incidents in Haiku, and two incidents each in Kihei, Napili, and Kaanapali. There were also single incidents reported in Hoolehua on Molokai, Kahului, and Paia.

Alleged Attempted Use of Stolen Credit at Kahului Walmart

The allegations stem from an October 2, 2011 incident in which authorities say the three persons entered the Walmart store in Kahului and attempted to purchase items with a stolen credit card. According to authorities, the credit card was stolen from a Wailuku home.

13 Maui Burglaries Reported Mar. 4 to 10, 2012

There were two incidents each in Waiehu, Lahaina and Kaanapali; and a variety of other incidents throughout the county. Four of the incidents involved forced entry.

6 Vehicle Thefts on Maui Mar. 4 to 10, 2012

The incidents were reported in Kaanapali, Kahului, Kula, Makawao, Waiehu, and Wailuku. Vehicles stolen included (1) Honda Civic, (1) Hyundai sedan, (1) Ford Escape, (1) Honda moped, and (1) Ford pickup truck.

9 Vehicle Break-ins on Maui Mar. 4 to 10, 2012

The incidents included three break-ins in Lahaina, and various other incidents across the island. The break-ins involved (3) Jeep and (3) Nissan vehicles, as well as (1) backhoe, (1) Chevy, and (1) Dodge.

5 Maui Burglaries Reported Feb. 26 to Mar. 3, 2012

Maui police responded to 5 residential burglaries over a seven day period, between February 26 and March 3, 2012. That’s a decline of the 12 incidents reported the week before. Two of the incidents were on Molokai. The Maui incidents were reported in Lahaina, Paia, and Wailea.

4 Vehicle Thefts on Maui Feb. 26 to Mar. 3, 2012

The incidents were reported in Kahului, Kihei, Napili and Wailuku. Vehicles stolen included (1) Mercury Van; (2) mopeds; and (1) Dodge Nitro. A single vehicle was recovered.

11 Vehicle Break-ins on Maui Feb. 26 to Mar. 3, 2012

There were a total of 11 vehicle break-ins reported on Maui over a seven day period between February 26 and March 3, 2012. The incidents included three break-ins on Molokai, three incidents in Maalaea, and two incidents in Kahului. Two of the break-ins involved 80s Toyota Hilux vehicles.

Authorities say three unknown males entered the Maui Blocks buisiness in Puunene and stole two four-wheel ATVs.

The public’s help is sought in identifying an individual wanted for allegedly attempting to purchase goods with counterfeit US currency during an incident at the Kihei Safeway in February.

Public’s Help Sought in ID of Kihei Theft Suspect

The suspect is wanted for allegedly stealing numerous items of clothing from the 808 Clothing Company in Kihei on Feb. 7, and again on Feb. 8.

Maui police responded to 12 residential burglaries over a seven day period, between February 19 and 25, 2012.

4 Vehicle Thefts on Maui Feb. 19 to 25, 2012

Three of the incidents were reported in Kahului, including one at Maalaea Farms on HC&S property. This is the same site were multiple vehicle break-ins occurred on Saturday, February 25, 2012. Vehicles stolen included (1) GMC; (1) Honda Accord; (1) Ford Ranger; and (1) moped.

16 Vehicle Break-ins on Maui Feb. 19 to Feb. 25, 2012

The incidents included eight break-ins in Kahului–four of which were from HC&S property near the Hansen Road/Mokulele Highway intersection.

The incidents included four burglaries in Haiku, two incidents in Haliimaile, and one incident each in Kaanapali, Kahului, Makawao, Pukalani, Waiehu and Wailuku.

12 Vehicle Thefts on Maui Feb. 12 to 18, 2012

The incidents were spread throughout different districts including four incidents in Kahului, two in Kihei, and two in Wailuku. A variety of vehicles were stolen, including three Honda Accords, and two Toyota Hilux sedans.

The incidents included five break-ins in Kahului, and two incidents each in Kihei and Paia. Five of the break-ins reported involved Ford Ranger trucks.

Maui police responded to 6 residential burglaries over a seven day period, between February 5 and 15, 2012. The incidents included two burglaries in Kahului, and one incident each in Haiku, Paia, Spreckesville, and Wailuku.

18 Vehicle Thefts on Maui Feb. 5 to 11, 2012

The incidents were spread throughout different districts including five incidents in Kahului, four incidents in Lahaina, and two incidents each in Kihei and Waikapu. Eight of the vehicles have since been recovered.

5 Vehicle Break-ins on Maui Feb. 5 to Feb. 11, 2012

There were a total of 5 vehicle break-ins reported on Maui over a seven day period between February 5 and 15, 2012. The incidents occurred at the Hyatt Regency, Front Street Apartments, Costco, the Queen Kaahumanu Shopping Center and Dolphin Plaza.
