8 Maui Burglaries Reported Jan. 29 to Feb. 4, 2012
Maui police responded to 8 residential burglaries over a seven day period, between January 29 and February 4, 2012. The incidents included two burglaries in Kahului, and one incident each in Haliimaile, Kula, Lanai, Napili, Paia, and Waiehu.
10 Vehicle Thefts on Maui Jan. 29 to Feb. 4, 2012
The incidents were spread throughout different districts including five incidents in Kahului, and one incident each in Kaanapali, Kihei, Kula, Lahaina, and Wailuku. Four of the vehicles have since been recovered.
4 Vehicle Break-ins on Maui Jan. 29 to Feb. 4, 2012
There were a total of 4 vehicle break-ins reported on Maui over a seven day period between January 29 and February 4, 2012. The incidents occurred at businesses in Kahului, Maalaea and Wailuku.

The incidents included three burglaries each in Kihei and Lahaina; and two incidents each in Paia and Napili.

The incidents were spread throughout different districts including one incident each in Haiku, Kahului, Kihei, Kula, and Lahaina. The types of vehicles taken included a moped, a motorcycle, a dirt bike, and two cars.
14 Vehicle Break-ins on Maui Jan. 22 to 28, 2012
The type of vehicles involved in the break-ins included 4 Ford Rangers, 3 Dodge vehicles (1 Avenger, and 2 Chargers), 2 Toyota vehicles (1 Tacoma, and 1 4Runner), and a variety of other cars.
13 Maui Burglaries Reported Jan. 15 to 21, 2012
The incidents included six burglaries in Kihei, and two incidents on Molokai. Ten of the incidents were classified as unlawful entry–the remaining three incidents involved forced entry into the residences.

There were two incidents each in Kihei and Lahaina, and isolated incidents in Kahului, Kula, and Pukalani. The types of vehicles taken included three mopeds, three automobiles, and one SUV.

The type of vehicles involved in the break-ins included three Toyotas, four Fords (including three Rangers), two Chevys, a Chrysler and a GM.
13 Maui Burglaries Reported Jan. 8 to 14, 2012
The incidents included three break-ins each in Haiku and Hana–two of the incidents reported at 10 p.m. on Wednesday, January 11 at the Hana Hotel.

Isolated incidents were reported in Haiku at the Haiku Community Center, in Kahului fronting Hale Mahaolu Elua, and in Kihei on Hoano Place. The types of vehicles taken were all mopeds.
17 Vehicle Break-ins on Maui Jan. 8 to 14, 2012
Five of the incidents were in Kahului, with two mid-day thefts from the parking lot fronting 24-hour Fitness. The type of vehicles targeted in the break-ins included three Toyota Tacomas, three Dodge Chargers, and a variety of other vehicles.

The incidents included two incidents each in Kihei and Wailuku; and single incidents in Honokohau Valley and Makawao.

Maui police responded to 10 residential burglaries over a seven day period, between December 25 and 31, 2011. The incidents included cases in various locations throughout the island.
Kahului Armed Robbery Among 14 Vehicle Thefts – Dec. 25 to 31, 2011
The list includes an armed firearm robbery of a vehicle in Kahului the day after Christmas. The incident was reported at 9:40 p.m. on Kuhuoi Street and involved the theft of a 2004 Silver Toyota Tacoma. The vehicle has since been recovered.

There were five incidents in Kahului; three in Kihei; two in Maalaea; and one incident each in Lahaina, Napili, Paia, Waikapu and Wailuku. Types of vehicles involved in the various island incidents included: 2 Toyota Tacomas, 2 Toyota Carollas, 2 Ford F-250s, and a variety of other vehicles.
