Thirteen Candidates Apply for Vacant District 13 House Seat

Thirteen candidates have applied to fill the vacant seat in House District 13 left by Rep. Mele Carroll, who resigned on Feb. 1, 2015. The Maui County Democratic Party received the applications for the district seat, which includes Pā‘ia, Ha‘ikū, East Maui, Moloka‘i, Lāna‘i and Kaho‘olawe.
