Filipino Folk Dance Troupe to Hold Open House Sept. 5
La Galeria, a not-for-profit Filipino folk dance performing arts troupe, will host an open house on Saturday, Sept. 5, 2015, from noon to 2 p.m. at the Luana Gardens’ community hall in Kahului.

Continuing its commitment to Elvis Presley’s legacy of giving, Burn’n Love, starring Darren Lee, will host two “Elvis Lives” kama‘āina nights to benefit two essential charities—the Maui Food Bank and Wounded Warriors Project—on Monday and Tuesday, Aug. 17 and 18, 2015, at 7:30 p.m.

The Second Maui Fair Fun Run is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 26, 2015, at 7:30 pm, at the War Memorial Football Stadium.
August–November Events Scheduled for the Island of Lāna‘i
August, September, October and November promise to be an eventful time for the island of Lāna‘i. Four major events are scheduled: TriLāna‘i City Run on Aug. 22, Festivals of Aloha on Sept. 12, Fifth Friday Town Party on Oct. 30 and TriLāna‘i on Nov. 22.
Tickets for 93rd Maui Fair on Sale Now
Pre-sale tickets for The Maui Fair are available at reduced prices now through Tuesday, Sept. 15, 2015. Pre-sale and Sunday Adult tickets are $5 ($7 at the gate) and keiki tickets (5 to 11 years old) are $2 ($3 at the gate). Keiki 4 years old and younger are admitted free.
